Peanut pad Thai keeps me coming back on the regular. I like my food hot and medium does the trick here- so beware. Not the cheapest in town but very clean and friendly. Order the peanut pad Thai and the spring rolls and thank me later!

Not worth it at all for delivery. After waiting 1(one) hour for food, received small portions for Pad Thai and spring rolls that wouldn't fill a child up. Ridiculous considering the $28 price tag and wait time. Only given a star because the taste was on par. Would not recommend

We were not impressed. The soup we ordered was good. The fried rice was fine. Our entries, though two different flabors, we're essentially the same. And, the vegetables of the dishes were supposed to contain a variety; unfortunately, they gave us only green peppers! Very disappointing. We'll try the other Thai restaurant in the area.

I'm just visiting town, but when I return hopefully soon...the service was genuine and not over the top. Felt at home with the impeccable service. I recently visited and had the Peanut Pad Thai. Food was delicious and there was much more than I could eat on the plate - I had lots left to take home.. Restaurant was clean, service was fast and friendly, and prices were comparable to other restaurants of this kind. Will return.

This restaurant is hit-or-miss. Sometimes the dishes taste very good, however, when there is a problem don't expect any understanding from the management. If they spice differently than you order or otherwise mess up the order they WILL NOT take it back and correct it! I had to be overly persistent once when the dish I received contained 2-3 day old dry and tough as a shoe chicken. It was embarrassing to have to argue with the owner who insisted the chicken was cooked that day. Overall, pretty rude management. If it isn't good, better eat up anyway.... Also, sometimes your food order isn't accurate or ready when you arrive for pick-up with carry out. Best advice.... find a more reliable and pleasant asian eatery.

My favorite Thai food place! A hidden gem. I have loved every dish I have tried here, the pad Thai is my favorite. Their shrimp and scallops are fresh and HUGE. Definitely recommend this place, it's tiny and hard to find (and keep an eye on the hours, I've shown up and been disappointed that they were closed) but definitely worth it!

Little Bangkok is it really that bad a restaurant. In fact some of the dishes are pretty good. like the drunken noodles... however if you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine... well you're in the wrong state. My recommendation regarding the spice level is if you like spicy, go for the hottest possible cuz that's the only way they'll actually use the Thai chili peppers. Spicy as HECK! But it'll quickly cool down with their uber sweet coconut ice cream. Three of us shared one and it was more than plenty.

Very nice nice place. The service was good. Soup, salad, and the main dish were very good. Stella Artois cider is part of small, but quality drink selection. Medium is slightly more spicy, than in most tai places. You may want to order mild plus and a spice rack.

Out of all the Thai Restaurants in Grand Rapids this is the best. Lilee, Tish and Melody and the rest of the staff are amazing. The food is great and consistent. I can't wait to see them expand the menu. So excited to visit their new location on Byron Center. Keep up the great work guys!!

This is a family favorite! The food is fresh and authentic. We have tried several dishes over the years and all have been consistent and very good! The service can be a little slow but worth the wait. Get there early for lunch as it fills up quickly.

A fantastic find in Grand Rapids of all places. Really for the experienced ethnic food junkie. The highest spice level is hot that I had trouble with it and I enjoy Habenero's. Can't say enough.

Alright, so we gave this place a try and we were disappointed. Some reviews mentioned the take out portions were large. Well not ours, in fact the cardboard to go container was only 3/4 full of Pad Curry. It was rather bland and hardly enough for a dinner. The Papaya salad was good in flavor but the spice was too hot making it nearly impossible to eat. It sure did clear our nasal passages. Finally, the Pad Thai was very good but not an ample serving for the price. And for $9 a pop, there should be some leftover. We lived in Chicago & Seattle where there were plenty of great places serving up extremely good Pad Thai. This may take time to find a place but hopefully Yelp will help us find one sooner. Next stop, Bangkok Taste Cuisine. ...So our search continues for our Thai spot.

Excellent service and good food. My colleagues and I eat here every Friday for lunch. The Tom Kha soup is the best in the city. My usual dish Gang Gai chicken is very good. The price it right, and the service is friendly and professional. It's my 2nd favorite Thai food place in GR.

My wife and I stopped in recently for our first visit to Little Bangkok. I love Thai food and this is the best I've had in both Denver and GR. Really fresh ingredients and wonderful default spice levels (high by GR standards). We took everything we couldn't finish and ate it later in the day. The service was friendly and quick. My new favorite restaurant. My wife, who doesn't like Thai food generally, was converted. Also her best experience. She had the Pad Austin and the fresh rolls.

My 4th Thai place in Gd Rpds. Friend and I both like spicy food so ordered medium. I had a green curry coconut dish, she got Pad Thai Noodles as she had never had. My curry portion was rather small, there was not enough sauce to go with the lg side of rice. The Pad Thai was OK but lacked the flavor I was looking for and both of us would lower the heat just a little. Soup was so so. Lunch ran about $8 for entree and soup. I had the Thai Iced Tea which had to much sugar and cream and not a real big portion cause they always fill the glass w ice (everywhere). There were plenty of people waiting for lunch but I will keep looking. Place is tiny and parking lot to small so get there early and back into your space.

This spot is a dreamy oasis in the middle of the Subways, Jimmy John's, and other unoriginal food options in the area that leave your mouth and gut with that awful kind of feeling: the kind of feeling where you know you've just eaten, but you feel sorry. You didn't binge. You didn't spend too much. But what you did do was compromise. You lost out. And you know it. Little Bangkok is Grand Rapids' finest outlet for regional Thai food. It's the spot where you go when you NEED the reassurance of a good meal, of properly portioned seasons, where the Thai hits all the essential five tastes that are requisite of proper Thai. Are the noodles just right? Of course. Is the service overbearing? Yup. Can you understand through the accent? Almost. And why do I say "the reassurance of a good meal..." instead of good Thai? Because in our hopeless desert of cuisine, not even the Executive Chefs up the road at our local restaurants can hold a pear soy candle to this spot. Now it's a bit out of the way for a lot of Grand Rapids, but when you're ready for the real deal, take the twenty minutes to discover this oasis. You'll not regret it! My favorite: drunken noodle, SPICY... duh!

Really good Thai food served in perfect portions (just enough to fill you up!). The service is really prompt and friendly and the food is really fresh and flavorful. I like my Thai food spicy and this place delivered, so if you don't like spice ask for your food mild. The homemade coconut ice cream was good but I've had better.

Little Bangkok is ok. A bit overpriced for what you get in comparison to other Thai restos in GR. Food is soso. I found Thai Fusion on 29th and Broadmor a better place and Herb Thai a close 2nd.

When I lived in Seattle, I was absolutely spoiled with some of the greatest exotic foods accessible in this country. I became a freak about thai food almost overnight. Since I've been home, I've been searching for comparable authentic thai within this gray, depressing, mid-western land. Yesterday I tried Little Bangkok and ordered one of my favorite thai dishes, crossing my fingers underneath the table in hopes that I would get a glimpse into the life I left on the west coast. I wasn't disappointed at all. The food was exquisite. This was the only thai within this city that I have ever been able to compare to what I left in Seattle. It was such a treat -- and almost a relief -- to have finally found what I've been looking for since I've been home. I've been told that the interior had recently been remodeled, and while it is quaint and adorable, it is very small. I highly suggest getting take-out during peak hours, or be some of the first to have lunch when they open right at 11AM. The prices are what I would expect for the quality and for the area. The service is what you would expect at a Thai place, but I couldn't care less. The food wins. Seriously.

As someone who spent the previous 5 years eating excellent Thai food more often than I'd care to admit, it was a primary goal of mine when moving to town that I find 'my' Thai place. I found it. If you're a Thai food fan, you must try this place. Unafraid to spice items the way they were intended to be, the folks at Little Bangkok have an extensive menu with all the standbys you would expect, and a ton of unique items as well. Try the Pad Se Ew with beef, or the Special Curry Noodle. Although, the Tom Kha soup (with coconut milk) is hands-down my favorite item on the menu...rich, spicy, just the right mix of veggies. Awesome. I've only eaten in the actual restaurant once, and the service was great. Food holds up well for a quick drive home with takeout though, too.

Heaven! I have eaten at many a Thai restaurant and still love LOVE Little Bangkok over any others. I am not keen on their pad thai, surprisingly, but love many other foods on their menu. When I go, I tend to order either their Kow Pad Curry or the Thai Steak. Word to the wise - be careful when ordering a spicy level at this restaurant. If you order spicy, it will come burn your nose-hairs-off spicy. If you order medium, it will be nice and sizzling. I order my Kow Pad Curry with lots of spicy and 3 ice waters. It is deliciously spicy with just the right amount of sauce. Thai Steak is on the other end of the spectrum and is a mildly sweet, fresh, dark-sauced dinner. It is served with steamed rice and fresh veggies. What I love about this particular dish is, unlike many Thai places, they will cook your meat to order. Their crab wontons are light, airy, and sweetly decadent, though not very Thai. :) I highly recommend trying this place out! Just be sure to get there either late, or early, in lunch... there is very limited seating and it is ALWAYS full!

As a recent transplant to Grand Rapids from Boston, I was bit concerned about finding some of the more 'exotic' restaurants. I was also concerned that when I found them, that they would be midwestern-ized and not authentic. We ordered take-out from Little Bangkok as our first attempt. The food was awesome. My plate was advertised as spicy and I love spicy foods. I was expecting it to be very mild, but it actually overpowered me! Got to remember to order the mild next time... The place is pretty small if you want to eat in but it wasn't crowded when I was there, the prices were fair and the portions were good. My wife (who has spent a fair amount of time in Thailand) also loved her food and we will definitely be ordering from them again.

There service is great, but I had the Pad-Thai medium spice with chicken and it was not that good as compared to other Thai restaurants. When you go there it is essential to order an appetizer because the Pad-Thai was small. All in all, it was pretty good, pretty over priced, and pretty small. Everytime I go to a Thai restaurant I have to order the Pad-Thai, I do not know what it is that compels me to. but I do lol

This may be our new go-to Thai place. After the place was referred to as a hole in the wall, I kind of expected a moderately dumpy tiny restaurant, but they recently remodeled and it's actually very nice (but still small). I always try a dish mild the first time, especially given the variability of spice levels from restaurant to restaurant. I ordered the massaman curry at a mild spice level, and it was spicier than the medium I get at some other restaurants. I'll definitely be sticking with the mild here. Pad Thai was tasty as well. If you're looking for extreme spiciness, they are more than happy to accommodate. Never one to turn down a Thai dessert, we tried their homemade coconut ice cream, which was a nice finish to the meal (especially if you're mouth is on fire).

One of the better Thai places I have been to. Was a little disappointed that I could get drink there (no liquor license), but the food was phenominal. I had the House Kow Pad and the spice level was just as desired and expected (thanks to another Yelp review). I will definitely visit again the next time I am in Grand Rapids.

Our first visit - we are thrilled having a Thai food close by. We order Tom Gah soup besides other dishes f a party of 3 - the soup contains a CENTIPiDe! Upon calling the waitress and asking what she thinks she says ... Well , that looks like a centipede . I'll bring you a new one! No thank you. - we left w/out lunch!!!

Out of all of the Thai restaurants that I had tried, this place is the best and most consistent. I am a big fan of their curry pad thai with tofu, so good! Hubby had the pad garlic with beef, he wasn't sure how hot to make it so he asked for mild, then he asked for chili oil, the waitress came with 3 choices of chilies, that was pretty cool. I tasted a bit of his and it was good. Kiddo got a kids meal with pad thai and crab wonton, he liked it too. The decor was nice and updated. Friendly service and they came with your food pretty fast too. This is my go-to place in for Thai in GR for sure.

Great place!! The food was fantastic. Very well prepared. Service was fast, and pleasant! The check was brought quickly and we were able o leave as soon as we wanted. The only downside is that the location isn't the best. It's part of a mini strip mall and it was confusing. You have to enter the busing and walk to the back to find the entrance (We later discovered you could park in the back and there was a more conspicuous entrance there). I would recommend this for anyone who likes good Asian food. Seriously good prices too!!

Ok, maybe I was just in a really good mood or they just had a really good day. But, normally Amanda L ( Our Fearless GR Leader), and I agree on most places when I look at her reviews. But, this time we had different experiences for sure. This place was GREAT, service was fast and very attentive. The food was fantastic, I mean it really was. I had the Kow Pad Curry with Scallops and it was great, I ordered it Medium Heat and it was what I would call Mild, the waitress could see that I was looking for something more and so she brought out the extra spice without me having to ask for it. She could just tell I would want it apparently, because I didn't see her bringing it to anyone else with spicy dishes. Then, on the recommendation of my fellow yelpers I decided to try the Coconut Ice Cream. HOLY SH!T was that stuff good, I mean really good and I normally HATE coconut but thought it was worth $3 to try and it was worth every bit. I mean really friggin good. I will be back for sure, my wife loves Pad Thai and she usually takes us to places with filthy floors, sticky menus, dirty tables, and second rate service. This place is none of those, this place is EXCELLENT

Little Bangkok is a great Thai restaurant with attentive service, hard working staff and delicious Thai food that is perfect for the typical Michigan cold or rainy day. I highly recommend the Thai iced tea, the curry pad thai and the pattani dishes. Be careful when picking your spiciness level, because anything over Mild or Mild+ escalates in spiciness fast. Given it's a super popular spot for the Ada/Forest Hills crowds, beware of long lunch time waits if you get there after 11:30am. All in all, LIttle B is an excellent lunch spot for 2-4 friends or coworkers to go grab a tasty and warm-you-up-from-the-inside meal.

Tried this place out today for lunch. I arrived 2 minutes before they opened and was greeted by a less-than-friendly hostess, "we aren't open yet!" Okay - my bad. Two minutes pass... I re-enter and ask for a takeout menu. Order food and it's ready to go in 15min. Nice and fast. Upon arriving home I notice that the pineapple curry was a TINY order. For any restaurant standards. What I will say is that the ingredients looked very fresh and it was very tasty, according to my husband. I ordered the Bangkok noodles and it was not good. Just call them salty soy noodles with frozen veggies. Not good at all. Overall, based on service and portion sizes, I definitely would not return or recommend this place. There are better establishments that are doing a far superior job in getting & keeping their clientele.

We absolutely love this place. Their Pad Thai and their fried rice is outstanding. We just moved to the area and we've been here 3 times already. The staff has been friendly with us each time. The heat is just right when I get it in my food. Much better than other Thai places in the area. We definitely found a winner here.

YUMM! I went today for my first time, and I am so happy I found a really good Thai place. I got the panang curry with tofu. I was so very pleased!! The only downside, they only had about three pieces of tofu and I was not a fan of the whole peanuts they put it in. But other than that, it was great. The service was awesome and super friendly. I will for sure be coming back and trying different dishes!!

This is my favorite place. But lately service has been rough!! I heard they opened a new location so my guess is the good folks went there. I'm basing my review on a the times I've gone and not the last few times. I haven't gone in a month or so. Hopefully the new staff is broken in and the food and service are back to excellent. My favorites are the house fried rice, pad Thai and pad sewe.

Disappointed. Just fyi, they do not deliver as advertised on yelp. Service was great, we offered carryout and they kept ice cream in the freezer until we got there. Very friendly. The soup thom ka was FANTASTIC. But that's where it stopped. Peanut curry noodles were overcooked and gummy. Satay was fried... why I don't know. Peanut sauce was way too sugary. And the gang gai was near flavorless and lacked any heat at three of five spice level. Coconut ice cream was good. Did I eat it- of course! Would I go back? Probably not.

Not worth it for take-out/delivery We ordered here for 6 people at our office. Everyone had smaller than usual portions, the food was cold, only a few pieces of meat or tufo each meal. Everyone was unhappy and hungry after eating it. They also messed up the order and forgot the side we requested. They have yet to return with it. This may be a great place to dine-in but skip delivery.

So looking for a gluten free delivery and love Thai food. So this restaurant came up and I was thrilled. Good ratings, GF options and delivery!! I called only to be rudely told" we don't deliver". Sorry but you get no stars as a result of false advertising! And I had to rate you... Yelps requirement so I gave you a one star but take it back to give you mine. Sorry don't deceive consumers.
